The beautiful beaches are the main focus of entertainment in this region, offering superb swimming and surfing (you can take lessons from a world pro, if you’re new to it or want to fine tune your technique). However there are plenty of other activities to keep you amused if you fancy a change.
Milton is a great place for shopping. It is home to a number of well preserved historical buildings and offers a colourful village of interesting art and craft shops.
Ulladulla has some excellent options for entertaining children in particular, including a skate park, an indoor pool and leisure centre and a cinema.
Another popular entertainment spot is the Mollymook Beach Bowling and Recreation Club, located at the northern end of the beach on Forrest Way, off Carroll Avenue. It’s not just about bowling: the club bar - which looks out over the bowling greens - is a pleasant spot for a cold beer and a flutter on the pokies and there are regular bingo and quiz nights organised. Bistro and a la carte meals are also available.
At nearby Burrill Lake, there is mini golf and the interesting Lake Tabourie Museum, where you can learn more about the history of this area.
